Cranachan is a traditional Scottish dessert featuring toasted oatmeal, raspberries, whisky and cream. The recipe for our Cranachan Cake incorporates Scottish raspberries in the mix and the buttercream topping is sprinkled with toasted Highland oatmeal. We recommend adding a decoration of fresh raspberries once the cake is defrosted and ready to serve as shown in the photograph.
